Last night was a scary night for many of us in Oklahoma!
We spent most of the evening glued to the TV.
We had the kids calmly pack a backpack with a few days worth of clothes and some toys. We gathered up some snacks for our stay underneath the stairs.
We waited until about 9:00 and then we heard the sirens and made our way to our "safe spot". Although from looking at the pictures of the homes that were hit, I didn't feel safe. The winds blew hard as the rain came down. We were lucky enough not to experience severe weather here!
I hope all you are safe and sound today!

My family and I were ok through the storms. I was with Granddad and Grandmon in their church's saferoom on the east side of okc; my parents, brother, and sister were at my mom's work in a saferoom on the west side of OKC. We took two poodles and the larger outside dog to the church with us. It was an adventure!

We got rain. nothing much. I spent the tornado going in and out of under the stairs. I eventully thought of changing the channel, but Tornados kept coming so I thought of safty and kept the news on.
so did you get a tornado Ms Johnson or just rain?
